Frequently Asked Questions

General questions about booking, scheduling, payment, and how sessions work. Looking for something specific to ASVAB, ACT, SAT, or Math? Check the FAQ section on that subject's page.

Getting Started

How does online tutoring work?

Sessions are live and one-on-one, conducted online using Google Meet, and scheduled according to your needs and availability. We provide services 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How do I get started?

Click any "Get Started" or package button on this site to book directly online, or reach out directly by email or text. We'll follow up to discuss your goals, current level, and timeline, then get your first session scheduled.

Do you offer a trial or introductory session?

Yes. New students can book a free 15-minute consultation to ask questions and discuss goals, or book a trial lesson for $30.

Can I get tutoring in more than one subject?

Yes. Many students work with Hanees across more than one subject area (for example, math support alongside SAT prep). Let us know what you need and we'll tailor a plan around it.

Scheduling, Payment & Policies

How is scheduling handled?

Session times are arranged directly based on your availability, with services offered 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Both flexible hourly lessons and weekly preparation packages are available.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit or debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and also accept Afterpay, and Klarna.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

All lessons are non-refundable. Full details are on our Cancellation & Refund Policy page.

Does the Weekly Preparation package expire?

Yes — the Weekly Preparation package is valid for 30 days from the purchase date. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy page for full terms.

About the Tutoring

Who is Hanees, and what's his background?

Hanees combines an engineering background, a legal education, and more than two decades of tutoring experience across test preparation and math instruction. Read more on the About page.

Do you guarantee a specific score improvement?

No. We don't make "guaranteed score" promises the way some programs do, because no one can guarantee another person's results. What we do offer is live, one-on-one instruction built entirely around your current level, your target score, and your timeline — the same individualized approach that has helped thousands of students improve over the years.

Are lessons customized, or based on a fixed curriculum?

Every lesson is built around what you personally need. There's no one-size-fits-all workbook or generic script — instruction starts at your current level and adapts as you progress.

Do you tutor students outside the U.S.?

Sessions are conducted online, so location is flexible. Reach out with your timezone and goals and we can confirm scheduling.

Still Have Questions?

Reach out directly and we'll get back to you.
